Use of the workspace
Scout is a recruitment CRM for separately authorized fraternity chapters. Use an account and chapter workspace only when you are authorized to do so. These terms apply to use of Scout; chapter and university rules and the terms of connected services also apply to their respective activities.
Chapter responsibilities
Chapter administrators must manage member access, connect only Instagram accounts they are authorized to manage, and ensure they have an appropriate basis to collect and use recruitment information. Do not share login credentials, attempt to access another chapter, collect unnecessary sensitive information, or use Scout for harassment, hazing, unlawful discrimination, impersonation, or unauthorized surveillance.
Information and recruitment decisions
Keep records accurate and respond to correction and deletion requests. Do not represent fictional sample messages as real conversations. Scout does not verify a student’s statements or make membership decisions. Chapter staff remain responsible for their judgments and conduct. AI extraction and automated PNM profile generation are not enabled in the current application.
Instagram connection
Instagram access depends on consent, Meta permissions, API availability, account eligibility, and token validity. Connection does not guarantee access to all past or future messages. Disconnect or revoke access when authority to manage an account ends. Scout does not grant any right to misuse Instagram data or circumvent Meta’s access controls.
Availability and scope
The current service is under development. Features may fail or be unavailable; no uptime commitment or paid service plan is implemented here. Do not rely on Scout as the only copy of necessary records or as an emergency communication service. Any future commercial terms must be supplied separately before a paid purchase.
Audience, access and support
The initial pilot is intended for United States chapters, with chapter users and PNMs aged 18 or older. Age and geographic eligibility controls have not yet been implemented.
Only authorized chapter staff connect the chapter’s Instagram account. In the intended production service, a PNM can message the chapter through Instagram without creating a Scout account, installing Scout, authorizing Scout, or joining the Meta app’s tester program. Production availability still depends on Meta’s required access approvals.
Contact the chapter administrator for current pilot support while the planned operator email is unverified. Use the privacy and deletion pages for data-request scope. No governing-law choice or liability cap has been invented for this draft; final publication depends on the operator completing and reviewing its terms.
