Request removal of your information
The planned contact privacy@atlasvault.shop is not verified or operationally confirmed. Until it is available, contact your chapter administrator; do not send personal data to an unverified mailbox. A monitored operator channel remains a publication requirement. Identify the chapter and your Instagram username or Scout account email, and describe which records you want removed. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or entire conversation exports.
PNMs do not need a Scout account to request deletion. We may need to verify identity and chapter authority, and coordinate with the relevant chapter, before removing records.
Scope of deletion
Requests can concern imported Instagram messages and identifiers, connection credentials, independently maintained PNM records, or a Scout account. Removing an Instagram connection is distinct from deleting a chapter’s independently entered recruitment records. The current PNM schema does not track source-message provenance, so such records require a separate review.
Deleting Scout data does not delete the original Instagram conversation or recipient copies. Backup copies follow the infrastructure’s configured retention and recovery process; a fixed backup deadline has not been established.
Disconnect or use Meta’s deletion request
A chapter administrator can choose “Disconnect Scout access” in the workspace to remove Scout’s saved token and stop new message imports while retaining chapter history. Removing Scout in Instagram can also notify Scout to disconnect. Neither action by itself deletes independently maintained PNM records.
When Meta sends an authenticated deletion request to Scout’s configured data-deletion callback, Scout synchronously removes the matching Instagram connection, its imported messages, and its encrypted token from the active database. A confirmation link describes that scope. Separate PNM, user-account, backup, and chapter-level requests still require the contact process above.
Timing and confirmation
Proposed: respond to verified deletion requests within 30 days after verification, subject to applicable legal requirements. This timeline is pending operational verification. Request a confirmation from the operator after the scoped deletion is completed. Scout does not currently provide a durable queue or automated status tracker for manually submitted requests.
